Organic Skin Care From The Inside Out: Healthy Organic Food

What kind of food is best for a healthy, glowing and beautiful skin?

Well, in line with organic skin care, this may not come as a surprise – organic food, of course!

Digestion of whole, organic foods is a lot easier on the system. If fruit and vegetables are grown organically and do not bring any residue of pesticides into the body, the body will not have to deal with getting rid of those toxins. Whole food is so much better for our health than processed food. All those additives, synthetic colorants and preservatives that are not something the body is happy with either. The same as for pesticides goes for additives – toxins in equals toxins out. Choosing organic and non-processed foods contributes to keeping the body free of toxins, so that there is less ‘garbage’ accumulating inside. Garbage the body will eventually have to clean out, one way or another.

So, pampering the body from the outside with purely natural, organic skin care is great, but giving the body what it needs to work on great skin from the inside, is at least as important.

Apart from being good for the skin, including more whole, organic foods and superfoods in your diet will give you more energy and contribute to your health in general.

Our Skin Needs Water

Proper hydration starts on the inside. I can’t sweat this enough – water is the main building block of the body and skin. Not drinking enough liquids and expecting an expensive moisturizing cream to control the damage, will never give anything but disappointing results. ID-10053130

We all know about the classic eight glasses of water per day in theory, but putting it into practice… oh my. Quite a challenge, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, there is no way around this. Put up post-it notes, program your phone’s alarm, make it a habit at specific times or locations, find some kind of tea if drinking water is not doing it for you… Either way, just make it happen.

Whether you’re using organic skin care or not, drinking water is simply one of the best things you can do for your skin.

What to Stay Away From?

Some foods are so healthy we call them superfoods. On the other side of the spectrum, there are substances which appear to be very bad for the body, if not downright toxic. These facts are worth knowing! If your mission is a healthy body and naturally radiant skin, skip these ‘pollutions’.
